Motivation is the first step in a learning cycle. It is the process of attracting and maintaining student's attention. Motivation has to be intrinsic in order to reach the desired deep learning.

In order to reach this kind of motivation, why not inviting your students to take part in the upcoming Qatar University Contest. The Contest has the following objectives:

• Increase high-school students' attention to the field of computing science, and Engineering and relevant issues of the day.
• Give high-school students across Qatar the chance to work together and show their creative web design and team-work skills.
• Inspire high-school students to research current-day issues in Qatar, and then design a relevant and informative website with the best of their skills and knowledge.

Qatar University prizes for the three finalists are, as follows:

• First Winning Prize: Scholarship(s) to study Computer Science or Computer Engineering at Qatar University, plus First Winner Prize QR 10,000
• Second Winning Prize: QR 6,000.
• Third Winning Prize: QR 4,000
